The 26-year-old arrived after scoring Spain’s extra-time winner against Argentina in the 2026 World Cup final. His final season at Barcelona brought 21 goals and three assists in 49 appearances across all competitions, according to the BBC, as the club won the Spanish league title.
Torres reunites with Luis Enrique, who gave him his senior Spain debut in 2020. PSG’s account traces his career from Valencia to Manchester City in 2020, followed by a move to Barcelona midway through the 2021–22 season. The Paris move brings him into a third major European league.
PSG list 65 goals in 207 appearances for Torres during his time at Barcelona, alongside three league titles, a Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups. His signing follows the arrival of Maghnes Akliouche from Monaco. The fee remains a media-reported figure, while the contract through 2031 is confirmed by PSG.
