The Standard reports that Dejan Kulusevski has resumed full-team training with Tottenham after a small setback in his recovery from a complicated kneecap injury. The midfielder had already been working towards a return earlier in September, but that progress was briefly interrupted before this latest session.
Roberto De Zerbi said the issue was minor and that he expected Kulusevski to be in good shape, with Tottenham still aiming to bring him back into the squad. The Swede has not played since Spurs' defeat to Crystal Palace in May 2025, after two surgeries and more than 450 days out.
Tottenham have also included Kulusevski in their Premier League squad, which makes him eligible for the match against Manchester United on 10 October. The report does not confirm whether he will be selected, only that the club can now consider him for that trip.
What remains unconfirmed
- Whether Kulusevski will play against Manchester United.
