The Standard reports that Dejan Kulusevski is “very close” to a return to fitness, with Sweden manager Graham Potter saying the Tottenham midfielder is edging back after a long spell out injured.
Kulusevski has not played a competitive match for club or country since May 2025, according to the report, after a patella injury suffered in Tottenham’s Premier League defeat by Crystal Palace. Potter said Sweden would need to speak with Kulusevski and Tottenham before deciding on any call-up.
The Standard added that Kulusevski returned to full team training at the start of last week, although a minor issue later interrupted that work. Tottenham have also included him in their Premier League squad, and Potter said he hoped to have him involved later this month.
